Produce Identification Recently global supply chain efficiencies have increased the visibility of the supply chain with a high profile being placed on product ID, traceability, RFID/EPC, and data synchronization, both from an industry and government perspective. CPMA has taken a leadership role in domestic, bilateral and international activities representing the produce industry on various initiatives including work towards a global traceability standard, global strategies for the GS1 DataBar and chairing the newly formed IFPS. CPMA represents the produce industry on industry technology and efficiency issues.
