Each year, CPMA and our partner Fruit and Vegetable Growers of Canada (FVGC), host two events in Ottawa to raise awareness of our industry and communicate our issues to Parliamentarians: Farm to Plate and Fall Harvest. Industry members from across Canada engage with Members of Parliament, Senators, other officials and their staff in a series of meetings and events.
Our joint advocacy events on Parliament Hill strengthen our voice and remind our elected officials of the significant contributions our industry makes to the health of Canadians and the Canadian economy.
