Celebrate the International Year of Fruits and Vegetables 2021

Join CPMA in marking 2021 as the International Year of Fruits and Vegetables (IYFV2021). Launched on December 15, 2020, by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the IYFV2021 campaign aims to raise awareness about the importance of fruits and vegetables in human nutrition, food security and health.

From June to November 2021, CPMA will celebrate the diversity of fruits and vegetables, their importance to human health, and the people who produce them through its educational programs including Half Your Plate, Produce Talks Podcasts, and webinars.

Each month, CPMA will highlight educational content that features one of the following themes proposed by FAO.

International Year of Fruits and Vegetables
Month Theme
July Fruits and vegetables taste great and are good for your health
August Benefits of diversified and healthy diets
September Respect for food from farm to table
October Reducing food loss and waste
November Fostering sustainability in food production
December Growing fruits and vegetables benefit the entire community

Join CPMA and Celebrate Fresh from October 8-15

To mark the World Fruit and Vegetable Day on October 15, CPMA will run a social media campaign from October 8 to 15, 2021.
