Each year, CPMA and our partner CHC (Canadian Horticultural Council), host two events in Ottawa to raise awareness of our industry and communicate our issues to parliamentarians. Industry from across Canada meets in the winter or spring, and in November, with Members of Parliament and their staff in a series of team meetings and events. The meetings on Parliament Hill strengthen our voice and remind our elected officials of the significant contributions our industry makes to the health of Canadians and the Canadian economy.
Virtual Fall Harvest 2020
November 2-5, 2020
The 2020 Fall Harvest event will be proceeding in a virtual format! The new virtual format will offer all elements attendees are accustomed to, including issue overviews, panel discussions, team gatherings, and networking, while allowing a broader membership group to participate. Also new this year, Fall Harvest 2020 will include a series of educational panels for Parliamentarians and government officials to learn more about the fresh produce supply chain across Canada and the industry’s priorities for government action.
